My client is seeking a Project Surveyor. This is a part-time, temporary position based in Croydon. The purpose of the role is to ensure contracts and works are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner to agreed quality standards, value for money, statutory and regulatory legislation, health & safety compliance, ensuring high levels of customer and client satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the provision of an efficient asset management service for a specified area to our managed homes.
- Ensure efficient asset management for managed homes in a specified area.
- Manage and supervise staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct property surveys, prepare specifications, and schedule works for tender.
- Ensure maintenance activities adhere to organisational standards and legislative requirements.
- Maintain communication and consultation with residents throughout projects.
- Manage complaints and provide written responses as required.
- Ensure properties and communal areas are safe and compliant with health and safety legislation.
- Maintain accurate records of job progress and variations.
- Use software such as Orchard, APEX, and CRM for record-keeping and updates.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in project surveying or a related field.
- Strong understanding of asset management, maintenance, and health and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in property surveys and preparing works specifications.
- Experience with project management tools and systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
